2020 COVID-19 RELIEF Grant Information

Due to COVID-19 Main Street Arkansas has allocated an additional $2000 in Downtown Revitalization Grant Funds (commonly used for our matching Building Improvement Grant program) to our organization for the purpose of small business relief.  This brings our total funds available for 2020-21 to $3000,

Main Street Morrilton has elected to expand the guidelines for our DTR grant cycle for this year only to address immediate needs of our small businesses associated with the current COVID-19 pandemic.  Recipients will be selected by the Main Street Morrilton Board of Directors and must be approved by Main Street Arkansas Consultants.

Eligible items include assistance for rent, utilities, payroll, personal protective equipment, supplies, interior or exterior building improvements, and/or technology upgrades.  If you have a specific need not listed, please contact Main Street Morrilton Board President Morgan Zimmerman to discuss this need and whether it would qualify.

Applicants may apply for up to $500 in grant funds and will be expected to provide a 10% match.  Once grants are awarded, applicants will need to produce documentation of expenditures to be reimbursed.  Reimbursement will take no more than one week from the date documentation is received by Main Street Morrilton.  Main Street Morrilton reserves the right to award less than the amount requested depending on the quantity of applications received.

Please complete the entire application and include all documentation and signatures required to be considered for the grant.  Applications are due no later than October 15, 2020 and recipients will be notified no later than October 30, 2020.   Grant expenses with receipts can be retroactive for COVID related expenses back to August 1, 2020.
