Rialto Arts Council Plans Unique Dining Fundraiser

The Rialto Arts Council is hosting a special fundraiser, “Evening in the Alley” on August 20, 2021. The title for the event is reflective of its theme “Agriculture Alley: A Farm to Downtown Dining Experience.” This unique affair will be a four-course meal featuring many of the best local ingredients from Conway County and Arkansas.

The menu includes: Charcuterie- featuring our locally produced Petit Jean Meats products (meats and cheeses) and Wahrmund Farms beef; second course- Arkansas-grown greens with Conway County honey lemon vinaigrette on a slice of Arkansas grown tomato; third course- Wahrmund beef served with herb-roasted potatoes and Ralston Rice rummage salad, marinated cucumbers and tomatoes, and summer squash gratin; dessert course- Conway County pecan cobbler, Ralston Rice pudding, and Big Cuppa after-dinner coffee. The event will also feature a wine-pairing by Point Remove Brewing Company.

The proceeds raised through ticket sales and donations will help fund the upcoming renovations of the Rialto Gallery and Theatre, which is a historic feature of our Main Street Morrilton entertainment corridor. Tickets are $50 per person, will be limited in number, and must be pre-purchased by August 13th. Sure to sell out quickly, tickets are available at Morrilton City Hall or online at rialtomorrilton.org. Make plans today to reserve your seat in the alley to dine under the stars. The event begins at 7:00 PM, and the location is 213 E. Broadway (the alley beside the Rialto Gallery building). For any question or more information on this event, contact Shawnna Bowles at 501-772-3627.
